Everyone is looking 4 free WAP on Voda. Why not Virgin? A new network is bound to have flaws. Connections to the vmms APN arent charged (like Voda's MMS APN). Problem is, the default proxy blocks surfing and returns *you is sic using the incorrect settings*. Using the Cell C proxy (196.31.116.250), I don't get any data transfer. Anyone know of a working proxy? * +

Sorry, *sic* is meant to be in brackets. For anyone who would like to help scan for open ports, Virgin/Cell C use proxies in the range 196.31.116.x x x where x x x is 0-255 * +

Aint Virgin cheap enough?! Must u rip THEM off?! I mean,its not like theyre overcharging like Voda and MTN! Im satisfied that I hav cheap wap thats more reliable than MTN and Vodacom combined! * +

I use Virgin and I disagree. Speeds were very fast in the beginning, but I now get abysmal transfer rates, as in less than 0.2K/s and when opening a page it invariably loads incompletely. If I got a decent speed (I'd settle for 2K/s) I wouldn't mind at all. I just don't want to sit and watch my downloads and keep clicking Resume download continuously for 2 hours in order to download an MP3. * +

i dont mind paying for gprs but it should at least be reliable here where i stay in pta i barely have signal * +

listen if the signal is bad then just go to settings on the phone and manualy select a network, it will load and then show mtn/cellc/voda... select voda, now you will have full signal strengh but at vodas speeds * +
