after trying to get the apn settings posted on here to work, i phoned cust services to find out that java applications lyk mini opera etc arent supported on o2 payg .. ?? * +

i just got off the phone to the guy i spoke to who phoned me back (about 5 minutes after i posted that) after speaking to the technical support team and he said the only apn settings they have is payandgo.o2.co.uk and to get in touch with opera about it *flashbacks of this happening with orange* but still seems defiant that the application isn't supported by o2 payg lol .. * +

yup, i said that many of my friends have it working and he said to try my simcard in another phone and/or check my settings against other ppls .. .. anyways - just for the record - i got no complaints bout the guy- he was the best/friendliest cust service guy i've spoken to in a LONG time * +

oh, and a popup / txt msg thingy keeps appearing saying that i need at least 60p credit to access their wap services .. .. anybody else getting this? * +

o2 paygo def supports opera! Their are some alternate apn settings but they are meant for pda users, the weard thing is they sometimes work on payngo sims but i doubt very much they'll work 4 you if you can't get the standard ones to work. Operator error me thinks. *
