There only a few differences between IP version 4 and version 6. One of the main difference's is the IP address. Its expanded from 32 bit eg- 192.12.123.2 to 128bit 2001.db8.0.d802.2d0.b7ff.e88.eb8a or woteva IP address...I think China or Japan or one of the chinese countries are using IPv6 for there internet.... * +

IPv6 has more built into it. For instance you can decide what is important. 1_To give priorty to data transferred being CORRECT. 2_Give priorty to data transferred being DELIVERED-FAST with errors accepted. The last one to be used for AUDIO-/VIDEO-streaming. Other stuff is also built into http://www.ipv6.org/ *
