Yeah no chance unlucky! Get a 6600 and then control your tv etc. And even your pc with bemused.Sis . only sum apps and u need a usb bluetooth * +

There is a tv remote for sony ericcsson i believe. But i am assuming its java so may work. Try asking in SE forum. * +

Chances are slim cos the ir port is smaller than s60 in s40 and also don't think the phone allows the use of ir port to an app in s40. * +
