Why does my gprs connection keep cutting off after bout 10secs when i use Opera mini..its realy annoying cos browsing is so much longer..How do i get gpss to stay on permanently when usin opera?? * +

It works fine..just the gprs cuts off after a few secs then reloads again when i click on smthin...my gprs settings are set to permanent mode..i dont no why it does cut off?? * +

Im using gprs..I doubt its a network error cos when i use my normal fone browser,it works fine without cuttin off.. * +

10 seconds. I think it is closer to 20 seconds before it cuts. Perhaps it depends on the phone-company. Anyway, it makes new connection when you use a link in Opera-mini doesn't it? There is a way to keep holding on continuously for hours - but it consumes is a lot of kB each time you use it. At least for the password download of Opera-mini it keeps connection if used directly after download. * +

do you have your application network access settings right? it should be (depending on your phone) set to 'whole session' / 'permanent' / 'ask once' / something similar to those ......... that's just something that should be checked first, but i think it is the actual application that is the problem - ive had several that have that problem ... personally, id reccommend you try an older version * +
