GSM is the kind of mobile phone network used in Europe and many other places. If you set the WAP-browser to GSM-dial-up then you USUALLY will have to pay WAP-use per minute and second at the same rate as for a phone call to a land-line (fixed) phone. USUALLY GPRS is used for WAP. With GPRS you do not pay for the time used, only for the amount of data transferred. * +

Which phone have u got? There are 2 gsm. One is mention above and other is on only 3g phones. You have a option to choose gsm or dual. Basicaly if u use gsm then u cant use 3g service. Such as video call etc. * +
