Pakistan got only six or seven operators till yet Telenor Al-Warid Paktel Ufone Mobilink and Insta one. Each one has its own specs. Telenor got easy load in the prepaid package it got gprs relatively cheaper and faster as the speed usually stays in 5-6kbps its calling and sms rates arent that good. * +

Its post paid it even got a data plan for unlimited gprs and mms so you pay rs500 per month and use unlimited gprs and mms and it got four plans each with its conditions and rewards ! They are named indigo freedom 1 2 3 n 4 its speed is the lowest stays between 2-4 on aver.Paktel the cheapest network with respect to calls it charges per second (activation required)it has no gprs services till yet * +

@qaisu Gr8 summary of all the networks... Brother, you hav said that Ufone gprs speed is 3-4 kbps but i am using Ufone gprs, and i think it is quite lower than this. I measured once... And it was 0.5 kbps. But Ufone off net balls are still the cheapest among com networks, i.e. Rs 2.88 per minute including tax and no interconnect charges. Yeah, its international sms is also so cheap...really good. * +

All in all, Ufone is a good network... Considering it has gprs service (though slowest of all networks), plus the cheapest off net calls and the cheapest int'l sms...and the delivery reports and now also the call waiting...so its a good network.. Can't say best as i hav not tried others... * +

I previously tree mobilink jazz...it was fine....but since there was no sms delivery reports, i never knew if my sms has been rcvd or not. And there were times when sms will not get delivered. Plus it was expensive... * +
