Thanx Deck, appreciated. I've been on hold with Customer Service for the past 5min waiting for a consultant so that i can transfer credit from my number to my nephew's phone. How could somebody pull a scam using a service which Vodacom makes freely available?? Only a would allow somebody else to fiddle around with their phones and steal airtime lol * +

it was used by someone who wrote the code followed by their mobile number and just stated if you want free wap type this code into your phone in an instant the guy had more credit in his phone. Also saw it used somewhere else saying you get free sms if you typed it in but folk are a bit wiser to it now * +

Good grief! Shows you how gullible people can be! Just got thru to consultants, 21min54sec longest i've ever held for Vodacom! By the way, free sms from the Voda site, plus a few other sites too. * +

its not really gullible mate cos when I first saw the post the guy did I left it cos I didn't know any wiser for vodacom in SA, until it was pointed out to me that it was the balance transfer. Not everyone is as phone savvy as some so people did fall into the trap of sending the guy credit expecting to get free wap * +
