A program called laplink allows you to dial a home phone to access the pc... The software needs to be installed on both machines and gives you complete control of the home pc from your mobile laptop... Is that what your after? * +

It doesnt look possible mate... Remote assistance only asks for an email addy, and will connect to an isp to find it... If you try to create a dialup manually then your friend needs to have a server... Looks like hyperterminal is all thats available unless someone else knows different * +
