Ok, its irc - internet relay chat. Mirc is the name of a particular app. If that jmirc app doesnt work on yr phone, try going to http://wap.steike.com . Theres a wap gateway there to irc servers, limited functionality but it is experimental. Not much info at that site but if u go to the web site http://steike.com theres info there. * +

If anyone wants to try a java app for irc for their phone, theres one called jmirc. Its on sourceforge, so a visit to http://jmirc.sourceforge.net may get u details, but u may have to google for 'jmirc'. Check their website at sourceforge before downloading as there are a few versions of the app and u want to be sure u get the right one for yr phone, otherwise it may not work * +
