(lick) Breeding or farming animals for human pleasure and consumption actually protects and increases that animals population and chance of survival for eg. the countless numbers of dogs, cats, hamsters, chickens, cows, sheep and pigs.

If we do the same with the rhino or elephant, i.e. establishing farms where the main goal is to saturate the market with said animal and animal by-products, there would be more farms and more of that animal. * +

depends on who u speak to, i would happily throw a brick at a person being cruel to an animal, we have an inteligent brain and do not need to go there, my perspective is that if humans deprive a creature its natural freedom an domesticates it then they are responsible for its life and well being, that doesnt mean they have free choice if it lives or dies, stupid ppl think like that, as if its in their or a right, it really means providing food and shelter, protection from wild beasts, disease an * +
