how do I set up my tv to the wifi internet? basically I want to know if I can stream from my tv from my phone or laptop any tips? Its not a smart tv but a panasonic veiro or whatever. thanks in advance * +

forget involving your TV unless you want to stream to it rather than from it..
you can get apps from sky, virgin and Iplayer type apps..
otherwise I'm sure it's technically possible to have some sort of TV card mounted in a PC that could accept the feed you'd normally have plugged into your TV. * +

I'm not sure, a cable that goes from your PC into the TV. Actually that cable is for the monitor so I think you need Bluetooth if you want to transfer data. * +

if you want to stream to the TV (quid)30 buys you a chromecast dongle that can plug into the HDMI port and receive a signal via Wi-Fi from certain compatible apps on your phone or laptop...

there are other non google made alternatives in a similar vein too.. * +
