Subject: upgrade CPU

Resizable bar can stay on just incase you happen to play a game that supports it. It is basically opening up the whole gpus frame buffer to the cpu at once. It has its benefits depending on the game. If you are not mining then i would not use any settings that are optimised for mining. * +

Loose connections on high currents are very risky. The 3000 series likes to spike at times that can kill lower quality psu-s. Always good to get a psu that has cybenetics badges on. Just plain 80plus standards are not enough anymore. Psu-s that have spike protection built in is the way to go or just get one that has alot more headroom in terms of wattage. I went with a 1000w psu for a 3080 because the 3080s are known to spike very high. Also my psu is cybenetics approved. This means i can later upgrade to a even hungrier gpu. Looks like amd and nvidia are still going up in power draw in the future. * +

A psu is the last thing in a pc to save money on. If you get a quality psu it will last you many upgrade cycles. * +

is it safe to undervolt ryzen 5 3600? * +

It is already a efficient cpu so i would not bother. Just make sure it runs cool. 3600 are known to die easily. * +
