Ive been using a 250gb samsung also for 20plus days now and used the samsung apps to do everything even the optimisation. Dont worry about wearing out the ssd it will take more than you can give it for years to come. I had a 120gb corsair one i cloned from it still works. It must have written 100plus terabytes on it with those 3-4 years i used it (lol) * +

The days of dramatically slowing and fragmented disk drives are over if you use a SSD as your main boot drive. Just don't fill your SSD up. * +

no I don't intend to, I only use the Dell for work anyway where downloading is not required but speed is which is why I got an ssd for it. And the first gen core i5 seems plenty zippy enough for what iam using it for at present and I won't worry about it untill it isn't lol *
