Hi guys am in us for holidays, n considering to purchasing a MacBook Air or Pro as I'll save money compared to uk pricing. What's stopping me is come September new models will b out but by that time il b bk in uk. Another advice what worth getting air or pro I know silly question as it's basically what I need. My needs not much jus downloading music transferring them on iPhone, but would like something that I know is up to scratch n like if someone said can u play cod on ur laptop I can turn around n say yh * +

I've got macbook air my mates got macbook pro not much difference in them apart from the weight and macbook pro has disc drive the air doesn't. * +

My suggestion is, dont buy electronics off US if you are unsure about power. US runs on 120v and UK is 240v lol * +

yeah but you can get an adapter. maplins have em for 23 quid. you need to be saving more than 23 quid on it for it to be worthwhile * +

I say, avoid electronics that use a power transformer. Electronics with just a power cord is fine but it will be a big headache to make something work that comes with a transformer, like laptops and game consoles. *
