Tried installing something yesterday and got this error??? The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact support personell for assistance . How do I fix this??? If I check under services,Windows installer is not even listed there???? * +

first thing i would try is system restore. work back to the oldest restore point if necessary. Then run system file check sfc /scannow.

You might need Microsoft NET Framework. * +
