recently a compact flash went bad. windows told me to format drive. ..which i didnt cause photos might be gone forever then, but found BadCopy Pro and it did the job, recoverd lost photos . . now my question is.. is there other recovering software thats as good or better then badcopy pro ? (this is for future use.. hopefully its not needed) *

try recuvva (by piriform), I've used it with reasonable results (it found all the files but dumped them all in the same folder instead of the original directory structure) *
