Subject: Fibre connection

Internet speed doesnt make much difference if you are only using it to surf the net. 500mbps or 10mbps give you the same speed whatever your conputer is capable of. Its more about giving smooth connection for your net traffic. My brother got a 1GBps connection and loading Yahoo still takes about 5 seconds. Just that his connection can run hundreds of seedboxes at any one time. * +

Seemed obvious to me in his OP he was wanting to do more than surf the net (lol) I have about 18meg ADSL because that is the fastest speed I can possibly get in my area and I would gladly take more when they finally get round to activating the fibre they claim to have been installing past few months. I would even consider paying for FTTP in the near future. But I digress.
A 40gb cap would be crippling if you start to seriously pull down video *
