Best money is take screens of everything working, then break up a machine and sell it in bits on something like ebay while citing and showing it works just fine

It's nearly always worth more in bits than as a built machine. This goes for a lot of things, like scr*p cars. Mainly because more people are interested in one specific part they want, rather than the total configuration chosen by someone else.

The only alternative to that is you have a sucker already lined up willing to pay what you want for it.
