hi, i have a windows seven install on a 250gb hdd, but im asking my self, is it possible to make a backup image of my current hdd with clonezilla, replace my dying hdd with a 1 tb one and then restore my windows install to the new hdd?Becuse i dont feel like reinstalling everything again.Thx *

Yes. Just hook the new drive up to your PC, select the cloning options you want, restart your PC and the cloning app should boot and copy everything from the old to the new drive. You will then need to set the new drive to the first boot device in your BIOS, that is if you're keeping both drives. If you're getting rid of the old drive, just plug the new one into the SATA port the old one used. *

Personally, I'd prefer to use ghost32 and option ''disk to disk'' *
