I had format the laptop, i have the backup softwares,discovery disc one to four.I reinstalled disc one and two, the third reached at 73 then stopped.Indicating installation failled!The next thing you could see in the screen is ' BOOTMGR is missingPress Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart'I have follewed the procedure but still it shows the same thing.Please anyone with an idea to assist me please, I am so worried. * +

Its so unfortunate that it is a cd that I burn from the laptop. I did not buy it with a backup cd. * +

Acer's eRecovery tool is s**t. My hard drive was just replaced by them and they installed a new Acer OEM windows 7. I got home started to create recovery disks and the eRecovery kept failing on 4th disk. * +
