Hey when looking at going prepaid I'd say 8ta, just make sure there's coverage in your area... Or you can get a telkom line with an mweb internet account. That would be your cheapest option

Hi, thanx for response. I'm using 8ta on my blackberry, so defo have coverage. I prefer not to do the land line thing as I might move in a year or so. What are the things I need to look out for when getting internet? Itl be for work, forms and documents. Also I'll prob be on youtube loads. How much data does the average person use? * +

Well, that totally depends on your web surfing habits and if you have Windows Update automatically download updates.
YouTube or Netflix can eat up huge amounts of data and a big Windows Security update can be as large as 300 MB. Let's not even bring up what a Service Pack might do to you. Don't forget that PDF files and other picture type documents can be pretty large too. * +

I'm only planning on doing work really, I won't be downloading films or music, blackberry internet is good enough for that. Youtube will be my only guilty pleasure. I just don't wanna get internet and run outta data halfway through my work * +

Then you should use the low bandwidth low resolution settings on YouTube or you will quickly run out of data. * +

don't just check whether u have coverage. Check what kind of coverage u are getting. Is it gprs, edge, 3g, lte? Basing ur coverage on blackberry connections may be flawed considering the fact that even edge will be super fast on mobile fone due to less amount of data fones transfer. * +
