my mouse for my laptop was working fine but now it dont ???? i use to just plug it in and away i go , but now i plug it in and nothing ........ could someone pls kindly give me any pointers on how to get it bk working ???? thanx * +

1: Try plugging in another USB device into the same port as the mouse and see if it works properly. 2: If it is an optical mouse, plug it in and see if that light at the bottom of the mouse is on. 3: If that light is on then use a cotton swab to clean that area. 4: Right click My Computer and then select Device Manager an look for a red X. If it is the mouse that went bad, just buy a cheap replacement desktop mouse. You can use a wire tie to wrap up the excess cord. * +

if the light still comes on I'd go with re-installing the drivers.... Microsoft hardware usualy has this issue * +

This isue has popped up a lot on many forums lately ,I think a microsoft update has borked something like they always do . My mouse stopped responding to ,I just re installed the driver and it was fine *
