simple question: would it be possible to totally format the hard drive and do a clean installation of windows 7? assuming that win 7 normally picks up drivers automatically from windows update. its not my mac iam asking on behalf of a friend who despises OSX, so he doesnt even want to dual boot with boot camp. but something tells me it wouldnt be quite this simple am I right? any help would be appreciated. *

I think mate this question is not as simple as you thought lol. My guess would be that windows would detect the mac system bios and reject it. The only way maybe to dual boot with 0SK using bootcamp *
