Recently my laptop has slowed down considerably,especially during boot up....! Have used apps like registry mechanic,cc cleaner,pc spEed up,etc,but no real improvement??? Any ideas as to what may be wrong,what app I can use??? Acer aspire 5332,celeron dual core 1.9Ghz,2GB ram.....! * +

Download Process Hacker from source forge and look at what programs that clogging your ram. Kill it with fire if you dont need them. * +

1. Run anti virus scan
2. Check for corrupted system files by running sfc /scannow in command prompt with admin privileges.
3. Check your hard drive for errors.
