It relies on the name and aesthetics rather than the actual quality of the product. High end stuff uses high end design and materials. Bang and Olufsen sell arty farty designs not super high end technology. * +

BANG AND OLUFSEN products are aimed at wealthy people who rank status above technical specs and value for money. the sort of customer who wouldnt worry over spending a few thousand pounds on one single product, the same as the ordinary working man wouldnt worry over spending 150 quid on a mobile phone. its that kind of scenario. * +
