UPDATE: I was able to revive and sort out the 80gb too. used partition master to turn it into a logical drive and assign a drive letter and voila all my stuff and hard drive was back. a good end to a whirlwind of a day. Thank you for all the input. * +

use ubuntu/linux os to save your data...or just use hirens boot cd and boot mini wndows xp will.show all staffs...
