I've just recently signed up for sky in the uk but only because it was free for 12 months. I want to use the sky go service at work during my breaks on my laptop. But cos I use a mobile broadband dongle at work I would like to know if sky go is in HD? If it is I don't want to use it at work cos HD is going to eat up my data allowance. Does anybody know? * +

while streaming there seems to be an option to change the quality, but when you click it there are no options available, infact its just blank. I use windows 7 * +

Even SD will use up your allowance really quickly. Just download from torrents while at home and watch at work. * +

well ive got 16gb allowance every month on my three dongle for 19 quid a month so its not a major issue. but dont want to be wasting it on HD content. cant notice much difference with HD on a laptop screen anyway its all overated in my opinion. on the big screen its different of course ie TV or cinama * +

The app that runs the dongle, will probably have a part of the program that show how much data is being used, clear it, stream a hd programme for ten minutes, times it by 6 and see if you are happy with the amount of data that you are likely to use per hour * +
