hi i have an issue trying to copy films from one laptop to another well from my pc to laptop i have lots of films on my hard drive and upon copying 15 of them onto a 64gb usb stick i transferred, them to another laptop, they all show up as the films but upon clicking one to play it says something along the lines of the shortcut you refer to does not exist, yet if i keep the stick i took them off they play fine, please help. thanks in advance. * +

hi thanks for the reply i put stick in pc then i locate one of the films and right click, then click send to usbstick j films, dependent on size that takes around 3/4 mins per film, then i insert usb into laptop copy them all to a new folder, but they don't play , unless stick is in. please help lol * +

you paste the shortcuts not the real files thats why it needs the stick. * +

I'd creat a new folder on the laptop, open it, open usb stick, right click on the film file and drag it to the empty folder * +

@urvoice that's the way i did it but they wont play on the other machine unless sticks in. * +

right click on one of the files or ctrl+a to select all and then left click and copy. at the usb left click and paste. from the stick to computer do the same. * +
