im looking for an android media player to hook up to my tv, it need to support xbmc natively ie without needing to use another player/app and if i could hook it up to my network to allow it to play files i have on my pc that would also be great,i was thinking the Matricom mx2 or the Tronsmart MK908, both are pretty cheap even with peripherals added ie mouse, keyboard but would like to hear what others have to say ? does anyone own one of these or another model and are they any good ? * +

Ouya might be useful. Primary a gaming console but also can be used as a media player with lots of modding potential. * +

This will be the absolute best thing for you. Its quad core, has 2gb RAM and has all the essentials http://is.gd/qWJIXT * +

I have an Xbox 360 vamez, I can assure you it doesn't run android nor is it able to run xbmc, it can hook up to my network and I already have it hooked up but it can't play mkv files and struggles with some avi files, thanks for the suggestion but its not what I'm looking for at all * +

Suges I like where you were headed as the ouya is capable of handling xbmc but its a bit on the pricey side for me and doesn't use the android os, thanks though as its an option I never thought of * +

Trollulz that's the model I was looking at, the only problem I have is it doesn't have many ports for adding things but a powered USB hub would amend that I suppose, the only problem I can see with it is its lack of Ethernet port as I would rather it was wired to my network but it looks like its the front runner in terms of specs, thanks for the help so far people * +

Your right I just had a look at it, sorry aboit that, it's pricey though and not really in my budget, I could buy the mk908, a keyboard and add a powered hd for the same price as the ouya * +
