you'll be surprised how much software will run just by copying their program files onto another pc. but it all depends on the software in question. software store its settings in registry, somewhere within the program's folder, sometimes in application data and some even in windows and system32. if you studdy it you can create your own batch file to reregister your software but thats not a job for casual pc user, you should know well around the registry, the regsvr32 command and batch files. *
