Desktop pc with windows 7. My screen kept displaying no signal and keyboard didn't light up. After swapping the monitor and keyboard I found the fault to be pc related. So I swapped the vga connector from the graphics card to the onboard vga connector and still had same problem, I disconnected the graphics card, hdd, dvd rom cleaned everything and put it back and after many tries its working on the graphics card again. But the onboard vga doesn't pick up a signal. What could be the cause? And * +

and I still don't get why the keyboard failed when there was a signal issue with the screen, but after picking up the signal they keyboard lights up and works fine * +

i'd say something motherboard related.. that explains the onboard card failing to work and the keyboard problem. * +

if your using an external (plug and play) graphics card that will overide the VGA slot on your pc. Take out to graphics card and test your vga. *
