hi, when i switch on my pc i get this message: windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: 1. Insert your windows installation disc 2. Choose language 3. Click 'repair computer'. Problem is my pc didn't come with a disc. This has been caused by a software i downladed online. Im on windows vista starter. * +

Try repeatedly pressing F8 after the POST checks but before Windows starts, then there will be an option to repair your computer. If you press F8 at POST then you might get boot options instead of what you want. * +

tried it before and it doesn't work. I guess the only solution will be to get the disc. Thanx for the help. * +
