Bought a dell laptop 2nd hand bought new battery for it as it the old one wouldn't charge..now the new battery isn't charging either..is the fault with the charger or laptop? anyone have any idea? *

1.remove battry of ur dell laptop.. plug in charger,,, try to turn on ur laptop.. if ur lapton on.. den charger is good..2.put the battry back on to latop, try to on laptop. if it ons battry is good.. if it doesnt may be 2 conditions... a. the battry dosent hav charge.. 2. ur laptop is malfunction. 3. if ur laptop is on on both case.. plun in charger whil on batries.. keep it for 2 hrs.. if ur system is good den der is a malfuntion softwere.. if laptop shuts down.. den its a hardwere malfunction *
