GTX770 is a wash with 7970ghz far as anandtech benches show, its basically the same performance on the games they tested. It costs the same or less. It has forced down prices already, but they will only drop a little further by the end of july. Looks like a great card. Would be an easy choice for me between 7970ghz and GTX770. Nvidia for sure with their extras. The Radeon 9k series will be the ones to move on the performance but thats for later on. What matters more now is that the existing performance drops in price which is always good. * +

if id have to choose again i would propably go for the 770 but its not an upgrade anymore only a 780 would be for me. i like the new design of the titan, 780 and 770. the 780 makes the titan look stupid with its price still not upgrading to a 780 either just wait and see what the maxwell norega talked about will do and how much of a upgrade the new amd cards bring. would be stupid upgrading this early anyway
card does everything smooth with crazy settings. * +

Dont come in here weeks after release at near 600 pounds spouting cr*p about how you was right spartan . The cards had a price drop as no one is buying the piece of s**t and nvidia knows amd are going to murder them with the 8000 series . You avoided this post as i bumped it a few times just to get your attention and you refused to acknowledge you was wrong . * +

I didn't avoid this post. I created this post. As I said, you could now buy a GTX780 for less than 500 pounds only 2 weeks after it launched.
I even pointed out that on launch, there will be a premium on the very first page of this topic. There always is. Thats because I know how the market works....any excuses from you or anyone else doesn't make me anything but right ;-) GTX780 was never going to be 'cheap' or even particularly 'value' but it is within my predicted price hierarchy. *
