i enjoy some of them more then mp3s. and the filesizes are amazing. 149KB for a 5.21min file. if you can find it, check out dasboot.mid, i got it in 'the very best of midi gus collection'. its a u96 techno version of a movie theme, even though i dont know what movie they talk about but by the soundtrack... midi's are highly underestimated if you ask me, i think they are a thing of future rather then past. and the whole soundfonts idea and the software synth sound very good * +

its brilliant i have to admit. just think how many full song length midis you can fit in one single gigabyte.. capacity that we got today is an overkill! and considering how well they sound and how simple they are im surprised they are not more widespread. aand they are lossless too. * +
