Coming this year with a 20nm shrink and architecture change they skip the 8000 series like nvidia did with the 300 series. only some mobile exeptions. * +

Do we really need graphics cards this fast for next gen games I would wait untill the first next gen console games h*t pc ,because with consoles being pc like the games will be optimized and no longer poor ports .pc only games are going to be the only games taking advantage of such power and they will be few and far between with next gen consoles basicly being mid range pc's * +

games will still need to be ported as the amd arcitecture is a fair bit different to the standard apu cpu's as they dont share memory the same way. because the amd apu in the ps4 uses shared gddr5 its memmory though put will be huge which means games can be programmed a different way(easier and more efficent) and its this difference that means games will still have to go through a porting process. * +

xbxo games will likely need a lot less effort to port but in general your still likely to see some perfomance hit on some games that use more than 4 threads. but if your cpu has hyperthreading or is at least x2 faster than the amd apu then this h*t should be minimal. * +
