In the early days of pc gaming a new card ment a massive increase in power not just fps . Some games required a new card just to run and would not even start without the right card . Now days a new generation offers hardly anything apart from a higher fps and it hurts sales * +

I got a nice performance increase with my new Gigabyte 7950 tomb raider especially with TressFx performed well , the card is a lot louder than the 7850 but that to be expected I guess and as I game with headphones not an issue * +

is a bit higher than the Radeon HD 7970 at 250W compared to 210W.The picture itself is quiet surprising, the card may look shorter than its predecessor HD 7970 but infact is around the same length and has a design scheme similar to the Radeon HD 7990.
