What would be the best fluid based solution to use for cleaning a mobo? Would sonething like WD40 and a brush work, seeing that it's non conductive? Or would methylated spirits, for example, work better? Your thoughts??? * +

Why fluid? Just use compressed air and/or a soft brush. * +

I do use compressed air and a soft brush newt,bt sometimes there is still a little dust residue left on the board that the air just won't get rid of??? * +

Just a little compressed air but don't go overboard as you don't want static electricity to build up, and wear an earthed anti static wrist strap. * +
