I've read a post on here not so long ago,where the person didn't have heating paste and replaced it with toothpaste?! Anyone ever come across this and how advisable is it??? * +

toothpaste at first is supposed to work better than thermal pastes 
but it dries fast and is useless. * +

Don't use toothpaste. Thermal paste is cheap. I use Arctic Silver 5. * +
