companies with sufficiant expertise can easily re-package goods to appear as new regardless of what any law might dictate with regards to passing 2nd goods off as new. You would probably never know. * +

and considering l require 32 bit windows in order to run older programs 4gb of ram to me is actually 1gb of ram wasted with a 32 bit operating system.. 64 bit backwards compatible I hear you say? only in an ideal world lol. Not in reality, not with every program. * +

as for ebay, its cheap for a very good reason you can't see what your getting! photos give you little or no idea about the actual condition of a product. in my opinion only a fool buys blind. Ebay is fine for systems sold for spares or repair or accessories, but for anything of any significant value its a no no, or any amount of money that would hurt your pocket if it turned to be in poor shape * +

Ive bought tons of things off ebay, never been duped once. Also who told you that 64 bit Windows wont work with old 32 bit executables? Thats simply not true. While there CAN be issues there usually isnt. I have a few games released for Win95 that run in Win7 64 bit fine WITHOUT compatibility mode * +

you have obviously been more lucky than me on ebay. the old programs I use won't function on 64 bit windows and they are not games. *
