Whenever I turn on the screen and it is not plugged into the pc, it works fine and displays the no signal input on screen. But when I plug it into the pc, the screen switches off and the power light just starts flashing. Any ideas?? Its not the screen as I've tested another one * +

its the video output then the pc what is causing it. * +

does the pc post and boot as normal? check your cables and try using a motherboard onboard video out if it has one and you now using a dedicated graphics card. * +

sometimes this type of thing happens when some component is failed inside or just needs re-seating. * +

if you tried a different monitor and the same happens its something in the pc thats causing this. *
