I got 2 pc's direct and tried switch conected. When I acess the 2nd pc it freeze or when I lan battle field 2 it freeze but not when we lan saints row 3 ect. And also how can I fix the yellow triangle that says unknown network and another thing in using ipv4 and would like to try v6 in the network properties ,what ip can I insert that would be exepted ? best option for lan ive seen is using a router. especially for mixed operating systems. * +

both 7 with homegroup enabled there should be no problems then its most likely the games fault. * +

Try reinstalling the network drivers for the motherboards on both computers. Get them from your manufacturers website. * +

Specifically allow both computers in the firewall options and anti virus. * +

firewall is turned off and sadly the drivers are xp vita only but win 7 still picked it up. no websites have win7 drivers for same board * +

oh in lan network properties in protocall selecting ipv6 what example of ip can I put in there to use instead of v4 198.01.58 for example ? * +
