Adobe states that AMD's OpenCL technology is far superior to nVidia's CUDA. Seems like AMD is coming up in all aspects. http://is.gd/9aK0EE also, btw, I seen alvar's argument in the games forum about his 7970 ghz vs a regular 7970. He's right. His is better. Even if the stock 7970 is pushed to match the ghz edition, his can be faster and is cooler so he can push his farther. Had to throw that in * +

Also, before flame wars start, I know that nVidia has OpenCL too, this is just showing differences between technologies across different brands * +

only thing nvidia is better with is sli vs crossfire. crossfire has some serious issues. if your running a single card then the amd side are killers. ive run some benchmarks and against a 680 in direct compute amd destroys. * +

AMD cards are also much more cost effective, as are their CPU's and APU's. I can't wait for faster RAM and the A10 Kaveri APU. Crossfire the APU's already very nice graphics with a good 7x x x series gpu. Also AMD mobos are usually more loaded for a cheaper price. Its smart to go with AMD * +

http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html on this site they did not even benchmark a ghz card only a standard 7970 5028p getting trashed by gtx 670 5350p and the 680 gets 5626p. my score was 6165p its a bit odd
