I installed Google Chrome on me laptop n since then ive had a safe search come up on chrome, firefox and explorer ... I uninstalled n thought I had rid my laptop of chrome, safesearch n all itz componentz but yet it still comez up on my homepage... (firefox) ... (hmm) ... how do I get rid plz??... all help appreciated :) * +

What is this 'safesearch' thing you speak of 
I know Google has safe search options but it sounds like this was something you installed? What is the web address of your homepage? You can change the homepage in FF by clicking Firefox top left, Options, General. * +

safesearch is an option in google and no plugins are required so if u have one it might be a dodgy toolbar thing *
