If I have accidentally touched the BIOS chip on my mobo with a magnetic tipped screwdriver....can I safely assume that the BIOS has now departed....? :-( * +

Well I guess the warranty has run out by now, but even if it hasn't, Abit stopped making motherboards a few years ago so don't expect any support from them. Just test it, it's probably fine. * +

I have newt,as I said,I'm rebuilding,so don't know if the board actualy works,bt yesterday I got beeping error codes,nothing on screen,today.....no beeps,nothing on screen.......? * +

all fans come on though,and psu does heat up,so all that working fine.....! any ideas??? Btw,yesterdays error codes were memory,screencard and something about over voltage according to abit's site??? * +
