This is gona sound odd. I've burnt my harddrive. I accidently put the power cabel in the wrong way around and then smoke. Can the data on the drive still be fixed. * +

the connectors are keyed to prevent this so how on earth you manage this? * +

I have a converter that allows internal hardrive to usb so I plug in the power wrong way round. so 12volt became 5v and 5v became 12v * +
