Subject: laptop stuttering.

recently my laptop started stuttering and freezing about 20 minutes after start up. it keeps on doing ot for about 30 minutes and then is normal again untill about 5hours before it starts freezing and stuttering again. any advice and help will b appreciated plz. * +

Start Task Manager, Performance tab, Resource Monitor (Vista/Win 7/Win 8). There you can view what is slowing your system down. * +

If you have been running a 32 bit program on a 64 bit machine, then chaces are it is rundll32.exe. * +

@mok214, I have been running 64 bit since vista times. I've never had any problem with 32 bit apps which slow the machine down. not vista 7 or 8. *
