Anyone got any idea how much the quad and hex core cpu's should go for second hand? I know they been discontinued about 2 years ago. Also is there anyone in Worcester, South Africa that has one to sell? * +

second hand off ebay you can pick em up for 40-60 or r400-r600 a new 1 will cost about 800 if you import it from the u.s.a. or uk... well worth the time and saving over buying local which will likely cost you r1000+ * +

and thats ffor a 960 which is the only phenom worth the money. the rest will bottleneck if you pair them with anything better than a 560ti. * +

i see this regualrly on toms. why doesnt my 660ti match the benches. there system either has an fx or a low end phenom2... i see very few posts from 960 owers who get what they expected and payed for... so yeah the 960 is the minimum you want to go for. *
