i have sony vio VGN-NS20E the abt few week ago d laptop change d way of workn it wil on around 1o,3opm nd if i on it in d monin it also on to 1o,am bt after that time it wont on again till 1o,3opm and even it on then if i off and i want to re n it wil only show the power light it wnt display bt some of my friends said may b i set it to sleep doring d day nd have check everytn i dnt know wots realy wrong wit it pls help me i dnt know wot to do thanks * +

also, learn how to type for fxcks sake. It's bad when todays youth substitute the word 'the' with the letter 'd'. I mean really, you are online typing anyway so why not take a few seconds and type legible fxcking English to make yourself not look like a total moron. * +

if you messed up the settings and don't really know whats wrong, your best bet is to backup all important files that you have and reinstall the operating system. thats as best i can help you without working with the machine myself as windows is a complicated thing and i didn't exactly write the thing to know everything that can cause this to happen. after reinstalling, you can load all your necessery hardware drivers and see does the problem persist. if not, you are lucky, it was a software * +

it was a software problem and have been just eliminated. if you still get shutdowns, it is a hardware problem. it could be a power supply problem, overheating problem, motherboard problem.. if this was a desktop, most likely you are looking at the ready to die power supply. i don't have knowledge on laptop hardware * +

i remmember the first time i got my pc, i didn't even properly know how to power it or operate it and the warning i got from the preinstalled AV about my computer being in danger freaked me out and i thought i did something wrong. no one was born smart, we were all morons, sort of once and we can try to look smart but some part of us is always in ignorence. go learn stuff from books and webpages or from real live people, the only difference is that books can't make us feel bad for everything w * +
